About Jakob

My name is Jakob Wadelius, and I live – as you already may have guessed – in Helsingborg, Sweden. I am – surprise, surprise – 18 years old, and tired of the everyday gloominess at Campeon Frigymnasium. Therefore, my goal in life is to do something for the Greater Good – to achieve a certain knowledge of…. No, sorry, I’m just kidding. You did believe me, didn’t you?

Right, back to business. I guess I would fit in pretty well in the description of an average teenage boy, who is – with only a year to go – not entirely sure of what to do after graduation. We’ll see. As long as it’s challenging – I like challenges – I will probably be fine with it.

Utanför skolan sysselsätter jag mig gärna med att spela in film. Jag och en kompis har under sommaren spelat in en kortfilm, som kommer att visas på en stor filmfestival under Oktober. I övrigt tycker jag mycket om musik. Enligt mig är Sveriges i särklass bästa artist Håkan Hellström. Lyssna gärna på honom om ni vill veta hur bra, svensk musik låter! Kärlek och lycka – det sammanfattar honom ganska bra.

Dessutom tycker jag om att följa långa tv-serier. I höst börjar säsong 3 av Prison Break, och i våras såg jag färdigt säsong 3 av Lost. This winter – I think it’s about the same time in America - TV4 will broadcast the fourth season, and I can’t, of course, wait! In the meantime, I will keep watching the OC. It’s a shame you guys don’t live in California :)

But, well, “Michigan, here we come”, sounds pretty cool too.
